Adding a new title to her ever-expanding skill set, the "Irreplaceable" diva is looking to star in, as well as produce and direct a documentary about her life that will blend concert footage with intimate interviews.
Per the Los Angeles Times, Beyoncé's agents have been shopping the idea around Hollywood, and given the box office success of such concert docs by fellow superstars Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, the project would appear to be a no-brainer.
Knowles has reportedly screened 20 minutes of footage she's cut together for prospective distributors. So far no word on any takers, but it's expected in the doc she'll discuss everything from her days with Destiny's Child to her solo albums including her most recent—2011's chart-topping 4—and being crazy in love with husband Jay-Z and their beautiful new baby girl, Blue Ivy.
Filmmaking is just B's latest field of conquest, as she's already burnished a reputation as an R&B singer, record producer, fashion icon—see her House of Deréon ready-to-wear collection—and actress, most notably in 2006's Dreamgirls. She's currently shooting a remake of A Star Is Born as well.
A rep for Beyoncé could not be reached for comment on the report.
