But on the heels of news that no less an authority than the FBI met with the clothes-eschewing starlet to investigate her latest scandalous nude photo leak, several more names have emerged as possible targets of the hacking ring.
Fifty names, to be precise. All female. And all of whom are no doubt shaking in their Louboutins at the prospect of becoming the next viral (and let's face it, in all likelihood naked) victim.
As Hudgens can tell them, it's no picnic.
(Nevermind that this wouldn't have been a problem to begin with if the underage sex pot didn't keep stripping down and snapping away…this time not only giving online pervs a full view of her anatomy, but also puckering up to fellow actress and pal Alexa Nikolas.)
Instead, as more X-rated photos from her now four-year-old solo photo shoot emerged, Hudgens went straight to her lawyers, who not only expressed Vanessa's "deep upset" and "anger" at the leak, but who apparently had authorities on speed dial.
On Wednesday, Hudgens was photographed emerging from a building with her lawyers after reportedly meeting up with the FBI—who, as you would expect and hope, have remained cagey about the whole thing.
"It is FBI policy that we do not confirm or deny investigations," spokeswoman Laura Emiller told E! News.
But someone's talking.
The photos were leaked online after a hacker finessed their way into Hudgen's Gmail account, where they then accessed the reputation-damaging pics and spread them online. But now it appears as though Hudgens wasn't the only celebrity whose personal files were violated.
After her nearly hourlong meeting with the Feds, authorities left with a lead on one individual, who according to TMZ, may have employed a team of hackers to bust into the computers, personal emails and mobile devices of at least 50 other hot young Hollywood starlets—none of whom are all that eager to take the lead in the next online scandal.
As a result, more compromising videos and photos were retrieved, though Hudgens is for now the only one to be leaked. And while we imagine it's only a matter of time before the rest surfaces online, the FBI is reportedly close to closing in on the ringleader of the group. Here's hoping they act fast.
