Julia Roberts doesn't mind wrinkles. But varicose veins? Ew.

The Eat Pray Love star, who's all over the place promoting her new film, explains why she isn't a fan of Botox. She'll keep her unblemished Pretty Woman legs though...

The 42-year-old movie star tells Elle why she eschews Botox: "I want to have some idea of what I'll look like before I start cleaning the slates. I want my kids to know when I'm pissed, when I'm happy, and when I'm confounded. Your face tells a story…and it shouldn't be a story about your drive to the doctor's office."

She's not OK, however, with storytelling gams. After a bizarre intro on The Late Night Show last night, she told David Letterman, "Can I just log a tiny complaint? I'm in the dressing room watching, and in the intro they say, "And tonight: Julia Roberts!'...and then they say, 'A problem with varicose veins?'" Later, when Dave asked if she'd ever do another Pretty Woman, she joked, "Not with these varicose veins!"

Gams aside, People's four-time World's Most Beautiful Woman told Dave her youthful good looks are due to the "love of a good man, good kids," adding, "I eat a lot."

She prays, too, telling People she goes to temple with her family to "chant and pray and celebrate. I'm definitely a practicing Hindu."

When she's reincarnated (a central belief of Hinduism), Julia says she wants to be "just something quiet and supporting."

Like support stockings for varicose veins? Guess those can stay in a past life.
