There's a new Baby Spice in town—or, in any case, a new Spice baby!

Melanie Brown took to Twitter early Friday to announce that she and hubby Stephen Belafonte welcomed their first child together.

"Finally our baby arrives,Stephen nearly passed out, [daughter] Phoenix screamed,I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!" Brown tweeted, before thanking well-wishers and adding, "I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!"

So does Scary Spice's offspring have a scary name?

We have no idea. Brown and Belafonte have decided to keep the name and exact birth details hush-hush for now (but we'll let you know as soon as they announce it). However, her rep tells E! News that baby was born Thursday night "and both mom and baby are happy, healthy and doing well."

The little tyke joins an already estrogen-heavy brood. Mel B already has two daughters, 12-year-old Phoenix and 3-year-old Angel Iris, from previous relationships. As for Stephen, he has a 6-year-old daughter, Giselle. It's their first child together.

The 36-year-old three-time mama arrived with her hubby to a Los Angeles hospital early Thursday morning, just a day after telling Australian radio that the baby, who had lingered past its due date, was "coming out this week for sure."

Brown first announced that she and Belafonte were expecting in March, telling Hello!, "We're really thrilled. We wouldn't have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren't excited and ready for it."

And for those keeping track at home, this is the third Spice spawn this year. Victoria Beckham gave birth to daughter Harper in July and Emma Bunton delivered son Tate in May.
