You'd think Justin Timberlake was singing to his new baby son Silas all the time, but that's not the case.

Jessica Biel says her music superstar husband prefers to leave work at the office. "You know, it's hard when it's your business," she told me exclusively at the Bare party at RonRobinson Santa MonicaYou don't always bring it home and use that as your casual time."

Good point.

Turns out it's Biel is the who is providing the tunes. "I sing to the baby, poor thing," the new mom cracked. "I do a lot of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.'"

Does she hit the Wizard of Oz song's impressive notes? "Sometimes," Biel said. "Depending on what time in the morning it is."

Aside from the family, Biel is also expanding her career. "I just produced a film that I was working on for about eight years. We finally made it happen," she said, adding, "It's call Devil in the Deep Blue Sea. It's a very tiny independent film and hopefully we will get some distribution and get it out there."

The film is about "grief and overcoming tragedy," Biel explained. Jason Sudeikis plays a man who strikes up a friendship with a homeless girl played by Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams. The cast also includes Mary Steenburgen, Orlando Bloom, Paul Reiser and Mad Men actor Bryan Batt.

While Biel directed a short film Sodales in 2010, she said she's interested in working on a full-length feature.

"I think I would need to write it or somehow be involved with that process…It's a huge commitment," she said. "It's a lot of work."

She and Timberlake will receive the Inspiration Award from GLSEN in October at the Respect Awards, which honor people and corporations who have had an impact on LGBT youth. Biel said, "It's a really big issue and a real problem and you just have to stand up for people."
