Watch: Alfonso Ribeiro's Dream Come True

Congratulations to Dancing With the Stars season 19 winner Alfonso Ribeiro!

After Alfonso took home the mirror-ball trophy last night with his pro dancer partner Witney Carson, E! News caught up with the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star to find out how he it felt to be crowned champion.

"We've got a mirror-ball! Wild!" Ribeiro said. "When you want something for so long, it's just unbelievable when you finally get it. You never know if you'll ever get it and there have been many times where I said to myself, ‘This is never going to happen. I'm never going to do the show, they're never going to let me do it, and that's what it's going to be.' And then I got the phone call, and then four months later I got a mirror-ball!"

And Ribeiro knows he's got his Fresh Prince co-star Will Smith to thank for helping him get some votes in the finals, as Smith posted a message to Facebook last night telling his followers to vote for Ribeiro.

"That was really awesome," Ribeiro said. "I love you, Will. He jumped out there and showed us the love. Hopefully that was a little bit of help to get us over the top."

Although runner-up Sadie Robertson didn't make it all the way to first place, she told us that she's happy to have made it to the end.

"We were right next to Alfonso and Witney, who have been our best friends throughout the whole competition," the Duck Dynasty daughter said of the final reveal. "When it got to that point it was such a proud feeling just knowing that we got to the end with people who definitely deserved it. I feel like we deserved it too, but they did, too."

Robertson and her pro dancer partner Mark Ballas said they were "very happy" for Ribeiro and Carson to win it all.

"It's sad to be in second place," Robertson said. "But it's great for them."

"We gave it all we got," Chmerkovskiy added. "It's hard not to be disappointed. But it was very fun and I'm very grateful for the experience."
