Megan Fox is back to work!

Seven weeks after she welcomed son Bodhi with husband Brian Austin Green, the 27-year-old actress was snapped on the L.A. set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tuesday afternoon. Fox joined her co-star Will Arnett for re-shoots on the 3D action flick, which was filmed last summer in New York City.

Fox arrived on set wearing a parka, a sweatshirt, leggings and fur-lined boots. Thanks to the wardrobe team, she got into character as TV reporter April O'Neil by sporting red hair and a yellow jacket.

The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer was shown at CinemaCon on March 24 and Arnett took it public on NBC's Today three days later. Fox shared a link to the teaser via her official Facebook page March 27 and wrote, "In what is sure to be the pinnacle of my career in terms of my own overjoyed fangirlness...behold the trailer for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. Go Ninja Go Ninja GO!"

"Look what I got!" Arnett said as he greeted Today's Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer. "I brought some pizza. My buddies, the Turtles, it's their favorite thing to eat. I don't know if people knew that."

How was it working with producer Michael Bay?

"It was fantastic," Arnett, 43, told the co-anchors. "He's an action film legend...He's set the bar pretty high when it comes to these kinds of movies, so you want to make sure that you do it justice."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, based on the franchise of the same name, also stars Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, William Fichtner as Shredder and Whoopi Goldberg as Bernadette Thompson. It hits theaters Aug. 8.

(E! and Today are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
