One Direction's Zayn Malik Goes to the Zoo With Fiancé Perrie Edwards

1D singer and his ladylove took a trip to the London Zoo over the New Year

After ringing in the holidays together, One Direction star Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards spent a little time with some friendly animals. 

The engaged couple took a trip to the London Zoo over the new year, cozying up in Regents Park for an adorable snap.

"My heart," the 20-year-old Little Mix singer wrote on Instagram Dec. 30, posting a photo of herself standing next to her fiancé.

It looks like the duo made the most of their time together during the holidays and into the new year.

On New Year's eve, the duo hit an ice skating rink, with Perrie posting a shot of the two of them suited up in warm clothes and ice skates in front of a snowy backdrop.

"Happy new year everyone! Here's to an amazing 2014! :D Zayn&Perrie Xx," she wrote.

The 20-year-old One Direction singer recently opened up about his relationship with Edwards revealing how he keeps the romance alive with her and stays in shape for their upcoming wedding.

"I do try to impress her still, I do try to do a bit of exercise," Malik told E! News. "I don't want to completely let myself go."
