Ben Affleck is officially part of the Five-Timers Club.

The Oscar-winning actor returned to Saturday Night Live to host the show for the fifth time, saying in his opening monologue that watching Justin Timberlake make the Five-Timers Club got him very "excited."

"Steve Martin showed up [on that show]…Tom Hanks, Paul Simon…so I'm like, who's going to show up when I do it," Affleck said.

"Well, they were all just here for Justin Timberlake, so, no [one]," Bobby Moynihan said after popping up on to stage.

And after that comedic bit, Affleck brought his wife Jennifer Garner on stage to poke fun at his much talked about Oscar speech, in which he referred to his marriage to her as "work."

"Some uncharitable souls on the Internet took that to mean our marriage is some kind of manual labor," Affleck went on. "That's not it. You define what's important to you by what you dedicate your time to."

"It's a way we talk privately about how committed we our to our marriage," Garner said when she hit the stage. "I'm not sure why you had to share it live to a billion people," saying she would've called their marriage "a gift" in the speech.

After joking back and forth for a bit, Affleck told Garner, "I want to tell you how I wish I had ended that speech: I couldn't do any of the things I do without you, without your support. You're my angel, my life, my world."

Aww.

It was also a night of send-offs on the season finale with the SNL cast saying their official goodbyes to cast mate Bill Hader, who starred on the late-night laugher for eight years and announced his departure this week.

When Hader reprised his famed role of city correspondent Stefon on "Weekend Update," he ran off to a church to marry Anderson Cooper but was thwarted by the faux show's host Seth Meyers

Amy Poehler was also on hand for "Weekend Update" as well for her "Really? With Seth and Amy" segment.

And if it felt like a send-off for SNL head writer Meyers too…it may have been the case, as it was announced earlier this week that the "Weekend Update" host will take over Jimmy Fallon's late-night hosting duties when Fallon moves on to the Tonight Show in February.

Speaking of goodbyes, Fred Armisen all but confirmed that he too is leaving the show during the final sketch of the evening, when he reprised his role as rock star Ian Rubbish on "The Bizzaros" and hit the stage to sing "It's a Lovely Day" with Hader, Jason Sudeikis, and real life musicians Steve Jones, Aimee Mann and his Portlandia co-star Carrie Brownstein, among others.

Meanwhile, Affleck went on to play porn veteran Girth Brooks in "Hermes," and himself as a sound guy in Argo spoof "Bengo F#ck Yourself," among other roles.

And after debuting his new single "New Slaves" Friday, Kanye West headed back to SNL in a studded leather jacket to perform the song and another unreleased track called "Black Skinhead" from his upcoming album, set to hit stores in June.

So, tell us, what did you think of last night's show?

Sound off in the comments.
