David Hasselhoff is on a romantic high—literally!

The Baywatch star reportedly popped the question to girlfriend Hayley Roberts yesterday, and he pulled out all the stops. In true outsize Hoff fashion, it wasn't just any regular get-down-on-one-knee-will-you-marry-me shtick.

In fact, he chose such a dramatically grand location for the proposal, it clearly left them feeling on top of the world.

So where did it all go down?

Actually, it went up: He got into proposing position atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge!

And the Hoff's got the twitpic to prove it. The erstwhile Dancing With the Stars hopeful posted a photo of himself on bended knee in front of Roberts, both of them high above the harbor with the famed Sydney Opera House in the background.

He wrote, "Tried it again on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!" Hasselhoff perhaps alluding to reports that he'd previously proposed to Roberts, but that she'd turned him down.

Both wore matching athletic gear (did they plan to go bungee jumping afterward or something?), and Roberts tried to keep her poise amid windswept hair.

Shortly afterward, the star posted a pic of them passionately locking lips, along with this line: "What do you think she said!?!?!"

But through his rep, Hasselhoff tells E! News exclusively, "The truth is I'm having a fantastic time with this lovely lady, but at this time we have no plans to marry."

But, he adds, "Who knows?"

The couple reportedly met a year ago after Roberts approached the star for an autograph at an audition for Britain's Got Talent in Wales. This is the third marriage for Hasselhoff.

While in Australia, the duo also took the time to visit Sydney's Taronga Zoo, and Hasselhoff retweeted a photo of them posing with one very hoppin' guest.

If and when there is a wedding on the way, let's hope they plan to wear, er, less bungee-licious outfits!
